1 of just 48 UK cars with only 35,800 miles and the extremely desirable 1989 car with G50 Gearbox
Silver metallic with Velvet red leather and black hood.
This wonderful 911 Turbo Cabriolet which is just one of 48 cars that came to the UK market in 1989. It has an extremely low mileage and presents beautifully in its distinctive colour combination.
The 911 Turbo Cabriolet carries Porsche’s unrivalled experience of turbocharging from the race track to the road. Outstanding acceleration, cornering and road holding, all reflect Porsche’s heritage. But it is the 911 Turbo’s qualities of endurance and reliability that determine its suitability for everyday use. The 162 miles per hour maximum performance is derived from its 3.3 litre air-cooled turbocharged six cylinder horizontally opposed rear mounted engine, with 300 bhp DIN at 5,500 rpm, and maximum torque 430 Nm at 4,800 rpm. 0 -60 mph is achieved in just 4.9 seconds. Only in its last year of production, was the 930 equipped with a five-speed gearbox, which totally transformed the usability of the car.
The car was supplied by Dick Lovett Porsche, Swindon in March 1989, and comes complete with a carefully maintained history file, including previous V5 documents, invoices for works carried out, historic MOTs and tax discs. Very few Porsche Turbo Cabriolets remain left in the UK. It remains an iconic 1980’s supercar, which continues to excite enthusiasts and collectors all over the world. This car is surely one of the finest examples to be found anywhere. This vehicle has recently benefitted from a full service and a new Porsche 'Classic' Radio.
An exceptional collector quality car - not to be missed.
